During a mobile dog grooming appointment, your WAG groomer will arrive at your home in our specially equipped vehicle. We greet out client and also their hooman representative. WAG groomers discuss the services you would like for your dog and any special requests or concerns you may have. We will then proceed to groom your dog, which may take anywhere from 1 -3 hours depending on the services requested and the size and breed of the dog.
-
The frequency of grooming depends on the breed, coat type, and lifestyle of your dog. We recommend getting your dog groomed every 4 to 6 weeks. We often have clients that book their next appointment upon completion of this appointment. That way their doggo is set.

We use clean fresh water for every dog and our Hydrobaths are disinfected after every pamper session throughout the day.
The frequency with which you should wash your dog depends on a variety of factors, including their breed, coat type, activity level, and overall health. In general, most dogs do not need to be bathed more than once a month, unless they get particularly dirty or smelly.
However, some dogs may require more frequent baths. For example, dogs with oily skin or a thick, heavy coat may need to be bathed more frequently to prevent matting and skin irritation. On the other hand, dogs with sensitive skin or a thin coat may need to be bathed less often to avoid drying out their skin.
It's important to use a high-quality, dog-specific shampoo and to follow the instructions carefully to ensure the best results. It's also important to rinse your dog thoroughly to avoid leaving any shampoo residue on their skin, which can cause irritation.
Ultimately, the best way to determine how often to wash your dog is to consult with your veterinarian or a professional groomer. They can evaluate your dog's specific needs and make recommendations based on their individual characteristics and lifestyle.

Yes, warm water is typically used for dog grooming. This is because warm water is more comfortable for dogs and helps to relax their muscles and soothe their skin. Using cold water can be uncomfortable and potentially cause your dog to become anxious or stressed during the grooming process.
However, it's important to ensure that the water is not too hot, as this can also be uncomfortable and even burn your dog's skin. Before starting the grooming process, test the water temperature with your hand or a thermometer to ensure that it is comfortably warm.
Overall, using warm water for dog grooming is a common and recommended practice, as it helps to keep your dog comfortable and relaxed throughout the process.
Each pamper session uniquely comforting to each of our clients. We have had clients so relaxed during their bath and massage pampering they have fallen asleep.

Using a dog shampoo formulated for sensitive skin can offer several benefits for your furry friend. Dogs with sensitive skin are prone to skin irritations, allergies, and other skin conditions that can cause discomfort and even pain. Using a gentle, hypoallergenic dog shampoo can help to soothe and protect their skin.
One of the main benefits of using a dog shampoo for sensitive skin is that it is less likely to contain harsh chemicals or fragrances that can irritate your dog's skin. These shampoos are often made with natural ingredients like oatmeal, aloe vera, and chamomile, which are known for their calming and soothing properties.
Another benefit of using a dog shampoo for sensitive skin is that it can help to restore your dog's skin barrier, which is responsible for keeping out bacteria and other harmful substances. Dogs with sensitive skin often have a weakened skin barrier, which can make them more susceptible to infections and other skin issues. A gentle, moisturizing dog shampoo can help to strengthen and protect their skin barrier, reducing the risk of skin problems.
Overall, using a dog shampoo for sensitive skin can help to keep your dog's skin healthy, comfortable, and free from irritations. It's important to choose a high-quality, gentle shampoo that is specifically formulated for dogs with sensitive skin, and to follow the instructions carefully to ensure the best results.
